After harvest, when the buds have cured, they need to be trimmed from any sugar leaves, excessive stems and other material around the actual nug. This manicuring process is done by hand using sharp scissors.

The removed material contains high cannabinoid and terpene flower that can be smoked, decarboxylated, rosin pressed and used to make all kinds of infusions.
